POLICY

  • A Complete listing of booking policies and priorities are enclosed.
  • Rental rates reflect initial set-up and dismantle of in-house equipment including tables and chairs. All other equipment and changes in the initial set-up will be billed at the prevailing rates.
  • Space rental rates include an 8-hour shift for personnel. Additional charges may be applied for groups with extended hours. All signed contracts require a minimal 50% deposit to be considered definite. The remaining space rental balance is due one week prior to the date of the event.
  • Insurance coverage, as required per contract, should stipulate the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, County of Craven, their officers, directors, agents, and employees be named as additional insured.
  • Move-in / move-out rates are one-half the rate shown.
  • Standard Banquets utilizing the space for 4 hours or less are one-half the rental rate shown with a minimum of $1,000 spent on food in meeting rooms, $1,500 spent on food in Ballroom B or Ballroom C, $3,000 spent on food in Ballroom A or Ballroom B & C together, $5,000 spent on food in the entire Colonial Capital Ballroom.
  • Wedding receptions require full space rental.
  • Holiday rates may be subject to additional labor charges for holiday personnel.
  • The New Bern Riverfront Convention Center estimates a 5% increase in daily rental rates for the upcoming year and beyond.
